Hybrid Shutters

Hybrid shutters are our favourite product, and in our opinion offers the best all round value for money.

The colour range is big, the finish of the louvre edges is sharp and smooth. The paint finish is the same as you would get on our more expensive shutter products. This product is sold into 80% of the installations we do. That’s because it is very versatile and comes with many colour options.

It’s also very strong, and, due to the ABS louvres, very lightweight.

We can’t make special arched shapes with the Hybrid product. We can cover bay windows, large patio doors (with a tracking system) and tier-on-tier installations quite easily.

The frame is made from MDF, and so is the main panel frames, but the louvres are made from ABS plastic (the same as our premium Wetroom Shutter). ABS plastic is very stable, and reduces the overall weight of the shutter to that of a hardwood product.
