VELUX blackout blinds offer a light-proof seal for total darkness anytime. It is ideal in bedrooms, where you need complete light control to ensure a good night’s sleep or a restful nap during the day. Our blackout blinds fit perfectly with your VELUX roof windows and they come in a wide range of colours and patterns to complement any interior.

Available as Manual, Electric or Solar Powered operation, and Disney Dream fabrics are also available in for this blind.
Solar powered blinds are perfect for manual and solar INTEGRA® roof windows that are out of reach. The blind comes with a remote control operated by a standard battery that is recharged by solar power which is good for up to 600 operations even if there is no sun for recharging. Electric models operate in the same way, but simply connect to your existing powered window, whereas Manual blinds are operated by pulling down the control bar. Top and side channels ensure a smooth operation and enables you to position the blind anywhere in the window.

You can choose between white-painted and brushed aluminum side rails when configuring your blind. Please note white-painted side rails are only available with manually operated blackout blinds.

Manually operated blinds with control bar are well suited for roof windows within reach. You operate the blind by pulling down the control bar. Aluminium top and side channels ensure a smooth operation and enables you to position the blind anywhere in the window.
Electrically operated blinds are recommended for VELUX INTEGRA® electrically operated roof windows. The blind is operated via a remote control or wall switch that makes it an ideal solution for blinds that are out of reach. Control your blind from anywhere in your room for that extra level of comfort.
