Our Minimum Lending Criteria

Applicant must: -

• Be 18 years of age or over at the date of application
• Be a permanent UK resident - Minimum 1 year
• In regular permanent employment - (16 hrs or more per week) OR:
• Self-Employed - (Name & address of business must be supplied) OR:
• Retired, in receipt of a private or company pension (Details of previous employer must be supplied) OR:
• In receipt of long-term invalidity/disability benefit
• Pay by direct debit
• Provide proof of signature (see section 4)
• Minimum 30% deposit required

Applicant must also: -

• Have the goods delivered to the address on the agreement OR:
• If the goods are NOT delivered to the address on the credit agreement, provide at the time of application:-
• - The delivery address
• - Proof of residence

Proof Of Identification

Proof of signature:

An appropriate proof of signature is required for ALL applications. Checking the signature matches that of the customers signature on the loan agreement.

Acceptable Proof of Signature

Code BC - Bank credit/debit card or cheque guarantee card

Code DL - Driving licence

Code PP - Passport

Code WC - HM forces/police warrant card

Code IC - HM forces identity card

Proof of Residence

When the goods are delivered to the address on the agreement, record in the appropriate section "01 - Home delivery". No further proof of residence is required. If not, provide proof of the customers residence as follows:

Acceptable Proof of Residence:

Code 01 - Goods being delivered inside customers home address

Code 02 - Driving licence

Code 03 - bank/building society statement

Code 04 - Public utility bill (dated within last 3 months)

Code 05 - official document (E.G pension book)
